Hilton Burau Bay Langkawi Resort: opened in 2026
Hilton announced the opening of Hilton Burau Bay Langkawi Resort on 29 June 2026. Its official announcement describes an Orchid Grand Ballroom, smaller function rooms and outdoor settings including a Grand Lawn and private beachfront. These options make it worth discussing both indoor and outdoor layouts with the hotel's events team. Confirm the space available on your chosen date before commissioning a floral design.
PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort: a 2023 addition
PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort officially opened on 15 February 2023 at Pantai Tengah. It is a newer addition in the context of the island's established resorts, rather than a hotel newly opened in 2026. Request the current wedding or meeting information directly from the resort: packages, capacities and decoration permissions can change.
Questions to ask before choosing decoration
Ask which furniture and linen are included, whether outside decorators are permitted and when installation can begin. For an outdoor celebration, identify a reserved indoor alternative and agree when a weather decision must be made. Check whether backdrops need freestanding supports and whether candles, adhesives or hanging installations are restricted.
Photographs of the actual event space help us plan proportions. A design that suits a ballroom may overwhelm a small terrace; a light indoor arrangement may need a different approach outdoors.
Discuss your venue with Petik Bunga
Petik Bunga actively participates in Langkawi's wedding and event scene through flowers and decoration. Send us your venue, date and brief to discuss our wedding decoration services. The hotels above are venue suggestions, not a statement of partnership or past work at either property.
